Symposium Venue MTSA 2026 will be held at Matida Civic Theater (Miyakojima City Culture Hall), Miyakojima Island, Okinawa, Japan. You can also find many hotels near them. Please book your hotel by yourself through internet site, etc... Access The easiest way to get to the venue is from Miyako Airport (MMY). It takes about 10 min by taxi (~ 2,000 JPY, ~ 6.5 km). There are several local bus lines, but their frequency is not high enough. Then, we strongly recommend to use taxi. Recently UBER Taxi has become available in Miyakojima. Some taxies waiting at the airport may only accept cash. So, we recommend to use UBER Taxi if you don't have Japanese cash. Another way to get to the venue is via Miyako Shimojishima Airport (SHI). Shimojishima island is connected to the Miyakojima Island by a long (~3.5 km) bridge. It takes about 30 min by taxi (~ 4,000-5,000 JPY, ~ 15 km) to the venue. UBER Taxi is also available in Shimojishima. At the Shimojishima Airport, you will find an ATM to get Japanese cash.
